Macropix has developed and patented, within its digital signage Omnibus software, a system that allows you to manage and control the energy consumption of the display based on the single visual content and on the individual frames that compose it, offering a real time overview about economic and environmental savings . This can be applied both for outdoor and indoor LED displays.

The software examines and manages in real time:

1. physical characteristics of the display (i.e. nominal consumption)
2. setting of brightness during the day and in compliance with local regulations in force particularly at night
3. power consumption thresholds can be set on the basis of the desired maximum load for technical or commercial limitations
4. brightness management in daylight to comply with local regulations in force and guarantee top visibility
5. switch-on and switch-off cards

Omnibus analyzes each frame of the video or image in the playlist by calculating an average of the total consumption. Every single content can be checked in preview so that those who produce creativity can have an immediate return on power saving.
